Restaurant Manager
Wharf One Food & Wine is in search of an amazing Restaurant Manager to join the small passionate team. We are an iconic modern Australian restaurant located at the Darwin Waterfront. With 270-degree views of the Darwin Harbour and Lagoon, you will be mesmerized by the true beauty of this
location.
You will be responsible for:
- The efficient and effective running (and profitability) of the restaurant.
- Ensuring the delivery of excellence and consistency in customer service.
- Overseeing the daily opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
- Assist with writing and meeting general operating policies and procedures.
- Managing restaurant staff including supervision, training and rostering.
- Providing support to the bar, floor and back of house when required.
- Full cellar control from ordering to managing stock controls.
Role modelling authentic and collaborative leadership and positively representing the management team. Other duties commensurate with skills and experience as directed.
To be successful you will need:
- Previous management experience.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to develop meaningful rapport with guests.
- A genuine focus and appreciation for the provision of quality service.
- To be available to work on weekends and weekdays with a mix of day and night shifts.
- To be well presented, energetic and thrive working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining exceptional service standards.
